Children’s Pastor Position (Full-Time)

BASIC MINISTRY DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and vision for our children’s ministries. This person will lead by example, committing themselves fully to the vision and the future of The Gateway Church.

   RESPONSIBILITIES

To diligently maintain a growing walk with the Lord by connecting with God, with others, and with the world.

To maintain a team perspective by having a positive attitude, bringing a level of excellence to everything we do. To work cooperatively and cheerfully with the lead pastor.

Basic Overview of Children’s Ministries: Oversee ages 0 through 5th grade. Run weekly children’s services, plan and execute activities, develop and manage the budget for children’s ministry areas, disciple and build relationships with elementary students, recruit, schedule, and train leaders, raise awareness and support for kids’ missions, and support families in raising Godly children.

To use God-given gifts to help fulfill the mission of The Gateway Church.
